Guaranty Bank Gives Back Through Annual Back-to-School Backpack Giveaway

As students and families prepare for a new school year, Guaranty Bank is proud to continue its commitment to supporting education and strengthening the communities we serve through our annual Back-to-School Backpack Giveaway.

Throughout July, Guaranty Bank team members across Mississippi and Tennessee distributed 76 backpacks filled with school supplies to students and families, helping ensure children start the school year equipped for success. In addition to the backpack giveaways, winners were invited to select a local school to receive a monetary donation on their behalf, extending the impact of the program beyond individual students and into classrooms and school communities.

This year’s initiative generated enthusiastic participation across the bank’s footprint. Branches from Memphis and Southaven to Vicksburg, Greenville, Oxford, Amory, Pontotoc, Senatobia, and beyond reported strong community engagement and excitement from families. In totality, Guaranty Bank donated $3,900 dollars to local schools.

The initiative reached students across all grade levels, from elementary and middle school students to high school and college-aged learners. Branch teams shared stories of grateful families, excited students, and school administrators who appreciated the additional support. Several winners even chose to pass along their backpacks and supplies to students they knew were in need, further demonstrating the spirit of generosity that defines our communities.
