• When and How to Activate Your New Card – Activate your new VISA Business Debit card on Monday, September 23, by calling 866-633-5293 from the phone number associated with your account. Please refer to the sticker on the front of the card.
• Your New PIN – You will be asked to create a NEW VISA Debit card PIN when you call to activate your card. You will be able to choose the PIN of your choice.
• What to do With Your Old Card – On Monday, September 23, we advise you to destroy your OUB/BoP Debit card by cutting through the magnetic strip and the card number. For your security, it is best to throw the pieces away in different receptacles.
• When to Use Your New Card – Effective Monday morning, September 23, you can begin using your NEW Guaranty Bank VISA Debit card. Your old OUB/BoP card will not work after Monday, September 23.

Debit and ATM Cards

You will receive a new Guaranty Bank Visa® Business Debit card with a new card number, activation instructions, and disclosure shortly before your accounts convert. Please do not activate or use your new Guaranty Bank Business Visa Debit card until Monday, September 23. Your business checking account number will remain the same at Guaranty Bank.

Checks and Deposit Slips

Continue using your current supply of checks and deposit slips for banking with Oub/BoP until your supply is depleted. We will be glad to order you new checks after the conversion or when you run out. However, if you wish to continue to order checks through another provider, please provide Guaranty Bank’s ABA routing number 084202251 to ensure correct processing.

Statements

Checking, Savings and Money Market:

Your final statement from OUB/BoP will include all activity from your last statement, and any interest posted to your accounts, through Friday, February 2. Your next statement will be from Guaranty Bank and will include all activity from Saturday, February 3 forward. If you currently receive a combined statement, you will continue to receive a combined statement after conversion.

You will receive images of the front of your paid and cancelled checks with your checking and money market account statements after conversion.

Electronic Payments

To help make the transition of your accounts as seamless as possible, any incoming and outgoing electronic payments you have processed through your OUB/BoP checking account will transfer automatically to your Guaranty Bank checking account.

To aid in this transition, and to ensure uninterrupted service, Guaranty Bank will notify agencies, organizations and other third parties from whom you receive or send electronic payments. We will provide them with a notice of change to Guaranty Bank’s ABA routing number 084202251.

There should be no action required by you to affect the transfer of your checking and/or savings account electronic payments to Guaranty Bank.

If you wish, you may follow up directly with third parties to ensure the change is made in a timely manner. Account statements are dispersed at the end of the month.

Investment Accounts

CD & IRA

Certificates of Deposit and Individual Retirement Accounts

Guaranty Bank will honor your existing CD and IRA rates and terms through the first maturity date after the conversion. Prior to maturity, we will mail you a renewal notice setting forth the terms of your renewed Guaranty Bank CD or IRA.

Loans

Rest assured; your loan remains unchanged. The interest rate, due and maturity dates, and the payment plan of your loan will all stay the same.

Credit Cards

You can continue using your OUB and BoP credit cards. You will receive communications from the card issuer about the status of your credit card and may be issued a non-OUB or BoP branded card in the future.

Cash Management Suite

Positive Pay

• To help prevent fraud, electronic payments and checks can be approved or rejected before they post to ensure only authorized, legitimate payments are posting.

Remote Deposit

• No more trips to the bank and waiting in line! With the Cash Management online portal, a specialized check scanner is used to capture check images and transmit them to for processing.

ACH Transfers

• Send and collect funds electronically to vendors and individuals. Guaranty Bank’s secure online banking site offers next-day and same-day delivery of funds.

Wire Transfers

• Available for domestic and international business transactions. Dual control is available for additional oversight and security.

Merchant Services

• We offer credit card processing which allows your business to accept debit card and credit card payments online, on site, or on the go. Service provided by Ironwood.

Sweeps Accounts

• Allows you to consolidate excess cash to a designated account during nightly processing. Available for Lines of Credit and Insured Cash Sweeps.

Solutions for Business Customers

Online Banking and Bill Pay

• On Monday, September 23, your Online Banking and Bill Pay service will automatically transfer to Guaranty Bank. Your previous Online Banking and Bill Pay service will no longer be available after Friday, September 20.
• You will continue using your existing Login ID for the Guaranty Bank online and mobile banking.
• Your existing Bill Pay payees and scheduled and recurring payments that are in place on Friday, September 20, will automatically convert to Guaranty Bank’s Service and continue as usual.
• You will have access to transaction history for checking and savings accounts through the last bank statement date.
• You will be able to access the last twelve months of bank statements within online banking.
• All loan history will transfer back to the loan origination date.

What happens to my direct deposit? Should I notify Social Security or my payroll administrator?

No action is needed. We will send you a Conversion Guide soon which will provide you with everything you need to know about your accounts and services, including rerouting direct deposits with the new Guaranty Bank routing number.

What happens to my checks and Debit card?

The Conversion Guide will provide information about your checks and Debit cards. You will receive a mailing that will include your new Guaranty Bank VISA Debit card.

What happens to the rate on my Oxford University Bank and Bank of Pontotoc Business Certificate of Deposit (CD)?

Guaranty Bank will honor rates and terms on your existing CD accounts through the first maturity date after conversion.

What happens to my Oxford University Bank and Bank of Pontotoc Business loans?

All loans will move to Guaranty Bank where we will honor your current rates and terms through the first maturity date after conversion.

What can I expect regarding fees and product offerings?

Guaranty Bank terms, conditions, and fees are similar to your Oxford University Bank and Bank of Pontotoc Business accounts. Specific information and any changes to your accounts will be provided to you before the conversion.

Will I still have access to Online and Mobile Banking?

Yes, on Monday, September 23, your Online and Mobile Banking and Bill Pay services will transfer to Guaranty Bank. You will be able to continue using your current Oxford University Bank and Bank of Pontotoc Business username. We will provide further information about creating your new password at a point closer to conversion. To access your new Online Banking after September 23 please visit our website at www.gbtonline.com.

Will Oxford University Bank and Bank of Pontotoc branches operate under the name of Guaranty Bank?

Yes, all the acquired branches will operate under the Guaranty Bank name immediately following the closing and conversion on Monday, September 23.

How can I access my benefits that come with my Freedom or Secure checking accounts?

Enrollment instructions for benefits access will be included in your Conversion Guide that will be coming to your mailbox soon.

Will my current Home Equity Line of Credit or Overdraft Protection Line of Credit due date change?

You may notice a change in when you receive your Home Equity Line of Credit or Overdraft Protection Line of Credit monthly bill from us, but please note that your due date will not change.

Will the current branch hours change?

All branch location hours will remain the same.
