Melanie Sanders is the Vice-President of Guaranty Bank and Trust Company and a Mortgage Loan Officer. She has been with Guaranty Bank for 17 years and is thankful for the bank’s commitment to community service.
She participates in many organizations to make an impact for her community. She has traveled to Belarus and El Salvador on two missions trips with her First Baptist Church. She was the Volunteer Chairman for Greenville’s Mighty Mississippi Music Festival. She has contributed her time to Leadership Washington County, American Heart Walk Association, the Jesse Brent Association Golf Tournament, Teach Children to Save, Mississippi Scholars, Rotary Club, Junior Greenville Garden Club, and Joint Greenville-Washington County Historic Preservation Committee.
More recently, Melanie served as the Area Director to the Special Olympics. In banker terms, she says, the Special Olympics are the most lucrative “Return on Investment.” A Life Member of Junior Auxiliary, Sanders served as Treasurer and Charity Ball Decorations Chairman, among many other duties geared specifically for children.
